A great day filled with different types of ropes! Some of the ropes will hold you up in the air and the others you’ll use to tie your raft together. A great combination of activities for the family that likes to have a laugh. Have a good challenge getting around the highest Ropes Course in the UK and follow that up building your own raft to transport you down 1km of the stunning river Dee. These 2 activities work perfectly together and we’ll make sure you have enough time in between them to go an get some lunch. If you don’t fancy doing both activities on the same day we may even be able to split them between 2 days for you, just ask!
Our High Ropes Adventure Course is simply perfect for anyone to attempt providing they are over 10 years old and have a relatively good level of physical fitness. Get Wet The Adventure Company owns, manages and runs their own course so when visiting our course you will receive extremely high levels of support and customer service from our own staff. Just remember at Get Wet you are a name, not a number.
We can offer a fantastic raft building session which incorporates not only the challenge of building a raft that floats and holds together, but also a journey from a country mansion on the banks of the river Dee taking out about 2 km downstream.
This is a fantastic opportunity to raft down a river, on a craft built by your own fair hands. There is no access on this stretch of the river to the general public and it's a SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest) to boot.
Dont just take our word for how good our Family Ropes and Raft Build is, take a look at some of our customer comments:
We have been to several high rope activity centres and this is one of the best, very friendly, safety conscious staff. Our 10 and 13 year old children found it challenging but great fun. The staff are brilliant and stay with you at all times in case you get into any difficulty. We will definitely go back to this company to do some more activities. A great time had by the whole family. Many thanks!

Went here with two teenaged boys. Found the staff very laid back and friendly. The staff were laid back but very safety minded and knowledgable. After making sure the boys had their harnesses on correctly they showed them the correct way to attempt the rope on a low practice route. Once they were OK on the low level the boys moved on to a 7m high route which lead to the 21m high end platform. The route finishes with a fast zip line. One of the boys found the 7m route too much for him so the staff were right up there to help him back down, I would like to thank them very much for this. All in all this is a good experience it should take you around a couple hours to get round.
